Keep each project together with its files, notes and important links, all in one easy-to-use interface. Plug your drive into a Windows PC or Mac, launch Homescreen, and pick up where you left off.

Your projects stay with your drive, so there’s no cloud storage required, no account to manage, and no internet connection needed for everyday use.

Use the storage you already have

Homescreen Digital works with compatible USB flash drives, portable SSDs and external hard drives. That means you can choose the type and amount of storage that makes sense for you - whether that’s a small drive you carry every day or a multi-terabyte drive you already have at home.

Simply download Homescreen, copy it to your prepared external drive, confirm your license the first time you open it, and create your secure PIN.

After that, just plug in your drive and launch Homescreen whenever you need it.

Keep your projects together

Create separate Homescreen projects for work, research, school, creative projects, home projects or whatever else you're working on.

Each project can have its own files, notes and links, so instead of digging through folders trying to remember where everything went, the things that belong together stay together.

Homescreen also includes tools to back up, restore, duplicate, archive and export your projects when needed.

Move files from your phone

Homescreen includes a dedicated Phone folder for simple file transfers.

Connect a compatible external drive to your phone, add your files, then access them through Homescreen when you reconnect the drive to your computer. From there, you can copy those files into any of your Homescreen projects.

Works offline

Homescreen runs locally from your external drive. Your files and project information remain on your storage rather than being uploaded to Homescreen.

An internet connection is required for the initial license confirmation. After that, Homescreen can be used offline.

You can also access services such as Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox through your web browser whenever you're online.

What you get

Please note: This is a digital software download. An external storage device is not included.

Before you install

Your external drive must be formatted as exFAT for Homescreen's Windows and macOS compatibility. Formatting a drive erases its existing contents, so make sure anything you want to keep is backed up before formatting.

Homescreen is independently developed software and is not currently code-signed through Apple or Microsoft developer programs. Because of this, Windows or macOS may ask you to confirm that you want to open Homescreen the first time you launch it. This is expected and does not affect Homescreen's functionality.
